Dear Family and friends,
2 months to go.....
we are fully preparing for our big day. Running for papers, Organising our honey moon, looking for shoes, checking the progress of the wedding dress (this is without Ranufo!), trying to keep in touch ;-)
Our heads are all around the world..... In Belgium, keeping in touch with the family and wedding planner to make sure everything goes smoothly. Talking about Belgium, we thank the Belgian family for all the help they give, for being a logistic and emotional support!!!!! In Brazil, making sure we get all the right papers in time.....Thank you to people in Brazil helping us with this!! And in Thailand...... :-)
Organising a wedding is a real adventure, full of surprises. It is a team work!
A lot of you questioned what kind of wedding gift we would like to have....
For us the most wonderful gift is your presence on the day, and for the once who can't make it, it is the fact you are a part of our life.
If you want to give something more material, please keep in mind we have to take it all the way back to Bangkok and our luggage can be max 20kg....
Gift idea : some money to help for the honey moon.
All the best, H&R
A bientot,
H&R

places to stay
Dear family and friends,
First of all we wish you all a happy 2009!!!
For me and Ranufo 2009 will be a very special year. And yes, our wedding will be there very soon. The ones of you planning to come are booking plane tickets, looking for a place to stay.
Last month I was in Belgium and found some more information for you :-). The city that is the clossesd to our wedding is Mons. For the wedding day, we will organise transportation from Mons to the church of Wasmes, then from the church to the venue place (in Solre Sur Sambre) and from there after the party back to Mons.

- To fly to Belgium from any country in Europe : check out Wizzair (flying to Charleroi, from Hungary ), RyanAir (flying to Charleroi, from Uk, Spain, Hungary, Germany, Austria), sometimes they have interesting rates by SN Brussels airlines aswell. Most of the aircompanies fly to Brussels.
- To fly to Brussels from Brasil: I think to get the best rates check on internet, some sites always give the cheapest rates : http://www.edreams.com/, also ask Ranufo :-)
- By train : Form Uk check the eurostar, stops in Brussels, but also in Lille, Mons is in between and from Brussels and Lille you have regularly trains to Mons.
- By train from other countries : Brussels has very good connections with whole Europe, check out TGV (french high speed trains), or Thalysse (belgian High speed train). Some of them also stop in Mons. And of course normal trains connect Brussels to other european cities.....
About the places to stay, In Mons we have a very good youth hotel as many hotels. I didn't find any bed and breakfast... The best way to get good prices is aswell booking by internet.
- This is the link to the youth hotel, http://www.laj.be/html/en/hostels/auberges_en.htm it is in the centre of Mons, on walking distance from the station.
- This is the list of the hotels in Mons, this are the ones easy to access without car, at walking distance from the railway station (there is a free bus also going fro the station to the city center) : Ibis centre gare, on walking distance from the ralway station; Hotel St James, rooms look very pretty, is next to a big road. A little farther from the cty centre and station; Best Western Hotel Lido, good location ; Infotel, in the city cener of Mons, very good location. Mons is a small town easy to walk from one place to another, all this hotels are well situated.
- Possibilities to stay in the country side. I 've found some bed and breakfast and some gites (houses to rent) close to our venue place ( in Solre sur Sambre). For this places to stay you need a car! The poeple interested in this kind of place to stay, plaese contact me.
